Ballymacarbry is a small rural village located in the sunny South East of Ireland in County Waterford. Nestled at the foot of the Comeragh Mountains, the village has a population of less than 1,000 people. Despite the relatively small size of the area, the local ladies football club boasts a hugely colourful history. Ballymacarbry is the oldest Ladies Football Club in the country founded in 1970. It’s also the most successful; winners of 10 All Irelands and 14 Munster Club Titles.
