We’re delighted to congratulate Emma Murray, captain of the Waterford Senior Ladies Football team, on being named the PwC GPA Women’s Football Player of the Month for June.
Emma delivered two standout performances during the month. Against Dublin, her tireless work rate and two crucial points helped drive an impressive Waterford display that came within moments of a historic win, only for Dublin to level the match in the final seconds.
Demonstrating true leadership, Emma then captained the team to an emphatic 21-point victory over Leitrim.
This award is well deserved recognition for Emma’s impact on and off the field. Congratulations from all at Waterford LGFA.
